Zentangle® Events

With Zentangle, anyone can create beautiful images from repetitive patterns—no artistic ability or training required! This method is easy to learn and easy to do.  Zentangle classes provide a fun and lighthearted way to relax while intentionally facilitating a shift in focus and perspective.

Please register at the Doss Heritage and Culture Center in Weatherford, TX. Pre-registration is required so that I will have enough supplies on hand for everyone. Six person minimum class requirement, so bring a friend! There’s plenty of space. Won’t you come tangle with me?

Introduction to Zentangle (aka Zentangle 101)

November 5, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Class fee: $40, includes Zentangle mini kit

Do you like surprise gifts? Zentangles unfold one stroke at a time, often surprising those who create them. Following Zentangle’s simple steps, this intuitive art form comes to life as you make deliberate strokes creating patterns on your own Zentangle tile.

This class introduces the theory and basics of Zentangle. You will create 8-10 basic tangles (patterns) and two Zentangle tiles. A mini Zentangle kit and material are included in the price.

Beyond Basics (aka Zentangle 102)

October 29, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Class fee: $40, includes supplies
Introduction to Zentangle is prerequisite to taking this class. All are welcome regardless of where or when you attended your first Zentangle class.

This secondary class introduces advance tangles and techniques. Participants will learn how to deconstruct patterns to create their own tangles. Participants will need to bring their Zentangle mini kit for this class.

You may register for either class by mailing your check made payable to me, Donna Hornsby, at P.O. Box 36, Springtown, TX 76082, or while visiting the Doss Heritage and Culture Center. Please note on your check which class you are attending.
