Zentangle® Events

With Zentangle, anyone can create beautiful images from repetitive patterns—no artistic ability or training required! This method is easy to learn and easy to do.  Zentangle workshops provide a fun and lighthearted way to relax while intentionally facilitating a shift in focus and perspective.

Each workshop requires a minimum of four students (six students maximum; waiting list available).

Introduction to Zentangle (aka Zentangle 101)

Join us for a fun morning creating beautiful art, one stroke at a time.

In this beginning workshop, participants get introduced to the basics of Zentangle, learn 6-8 tangles with shading, and will complete two tiles.

This two and a half  hour workshop is targeted for teens and adults. Fee includes Zentangle mini kit.

Workshop Fee: $35

If interest warrants, an afternoon session will be added to learn advance tangles, tips and techniques for an additional $30.

Beyond Basics

Jo’s China Painting Studio, Euless, Texas

In this secondary workshop, participants are introduced to “higher concentration level” tangles and “tanglehancers.” Participants will complete at least one Zentangle using these techniques.

You will need to bring your Zentangle mini kit or your original Zentangle kit. Any special materials or supplies will be provided.

This two and a half hour workshop is targeted for teens and adults who have attended Introduction to Zentangle (aka Zentangle 101).

Registration is just $35.

Save $5 when you sign up for Introduction to Zentangle (Saturday, September 11, 9:30am to noon). Registration for both workshops is only $65 when you sign up for both, which includes Zentangle mini kit, all supplies, beverages, lunch and light snacks.
